Position Summary:

The Talent Specialist at Next Move Healthcare will champion talent initiatives for the organization with a heavy emphasis on talent development and training.  This person will oversee the full scope of the talent lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding, to training and development.  

This person will have experience in managing, designing, developing, and delivering training programs. They will actively work with People Operations and Next Move Leadership to identify training requirements and institute plans for training new and existing employees

The ideal candidate will utilize their excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative mentality to continuously improve our onboarding and training programs to meet the ever-changing needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, develop, and deliver new hire training and onboarding
  • Partner with leadership to design and deliver departmental training
  • Identify areas of improvement in training and development and partner with leadership to address needs
  • Conduct annual training for Next Move employees
  • Use known education principles and stay up to date on new training methods and techniques
  • Access instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and key performance indicators
  • Maintain updated training records
  • Research and recommend new training
  • Partner will managers on talent acquisition needs
  • Manage job posting and recruitment process
  • Coordinate and participate in candidate selection
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and training
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in training and development, training facilitation, training coordination
  • 1+ year of experience in talent acquisition
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work
  • Good judgement, strategic thinking, creativity, and resilience
  • Goal-motivated with a sense of urgency

Education

Bachelor’s degree in education, training, HR or related field.
